ALEX NEIL MSP

Alex Neil MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Communities and Pensioners Rights will be having a meeting at SLC Headquarters on Tuesday 27th October at 7.30pm. To meet local representatives opposed to the building of an Energy from Waste plant in the Whitehill area of Hamilton. Referred to locally as the incinerator

He will be bringing Scottish Government Officers along to discuss the Incinerator plans.
Other interested parties and local politicians have also been invited

It's important that we show the Cabinet Secretary how strongly our communities feel about these plans and we would urge everyone to make the effort to demonstrate outside the meeting venue.

In order to Send a Strong Message to the Scottish Government come along dressed in black with gas/ protective masks or skeleton masks ( it is close to Halloween after all) . We also are looking to make as much Noise as possible so please bring whistles, rattles, drums, musical instalments, Pots and pans and spoons even.

This will be a family friendly event anti-social behaver will not be tolerated!!!! Let’s keep it Fun

Hamilton Accies' Chief Executive supports fight against waste processing

Colin McGowan Hamilton Accies Chief Executive

Great turnout at Hamilton Accies 1st meeting on 2nd October at 7pm.

 Think again Scottish Ministers

Colin, the Hamilton Accies chairman,  pledged to help the fight against the incinerator being built in the Whitehill area and delivered an inspirational speech urging Supporters to stay united and to act with dignity.  He is doing his best to get this cause into the public domain and he will ask his contacts in the business world to highlight and join the campaign.
