Update on Whitehill Incinerator

Monica Lennon has been an excellent supporter for the full revoking of this planning permission that Scottish Government have now allowed, when the council threw it out.

However we have this man Alex Neil blaming everyone else stop the fighting Alex and do something for the people you are elected by, whose health is on the line drop the political CRAP!!!!

Meeting 11 November STOP THE INCINERATOR

This meeting was very informative and a decision was made to pursue a joint statement from all our supporters from all major political parties, the councillors David Mclachlan, Monica Lennon and Jim McGuigan, MSPs Margaret Mitchell, Richard lyle and Angela Crawley, this would be drafted by Monica and after all in agreement will be sent to Council Leaders and to Mr Alex Neil, also copies to be sent to SEEPA, who will be making the decision on Licence for Plant. There was also talk of Section 65 and Section 68 of the planning laws, 65 which would see the originals plans looked at again, however if Mr Alex Neil used the section 68 of the act then the planning permission would be overturned.

SOLIDARITY IS THE KEY, FOR THE SAKE OF OUR CHILDREN AND OUR CHILDRENS CHILDREN, WE WILL WIN

HAMILTON TOP CROSS STALL SAT 31/10/15

What a great day handing out leaflets and making new friends to support our fight against the incinerator, and a very big shout out for little Caleb to the right of the picture, he approached us to help give the leaflets out and at only 11 he showed a maturity in his concern, as he said his friends all live in the Whitehill area close to the proposed site and they attend St Pauls Primary school.

Great day out in Hamilton

ALEX NEIL SNAKE

That awkward moment when the crowd realised Cabinet Secretary Alex Neil MSP had sneaked in the building and wouldn't come out and meet us. Shame on him.
We had gathered in the cold for a full hour before the meeting, and Alex had would not come out to address or acknowledge us is this the man of the people, clearly no and should be accountable to his boss, Nicola Sturgeon.

Public meeting 1st October 7pm Hamilton Accies Stadium

Do you know that an Incinerator is planned for the edge of Whitehill in Hamilton?

Do you know how it might Affect YOU!!

Here are 5 things you need to know-

1 - Cancer rates significantly increases around incinerators, the closer you are, the greater the chance that you will develop the disease.

2- The Plant will vent Toxic Gas over Whitehill, including St Pauls Primary, several time a day.

3-There will be 120 waste trucks coming in and out of the site every day.

4- The Plant will run 24 hours per day, 365 days per year for 25 years.

5- If you Plan to sell your home you will need to include this in your sellers pack.

What can you do about it??

Come along to the Public Meeting at Hamilton Accies Stadium at 7pm on Thursday 1st October.
